Audil Lekal was the second king of the kingdom formed by Jastes Lekal, who was his nephew.[1]
Elend sent Breeze and Sazed to his kingdom in order to bring the king underneath the rule of his empire.Audil took as much time as possible to debate and try and find a way to survive other than signing the treaty, but eventually caved in and signed on as a state under the protection of Elend and his empire. His signature on the agreement was incredibly small and cramped, which Sazed notes as showing just how little he wanted to bend the knee to Elend and did so only because he knew he had no alternative.[1]
