Aslydin is the daughter of a Terris elder on Scadrial during the Final Empire.[3] She is in a relationship with General Demoux.[4]

During the Battle of Hathsin Aslydin tends the wounded.[5] Elend notices her gazing fondly at Demoux when she brings the Emperor tea.[6] Aslydin begins to fall in love with Demoux because of his honor and because of the respect that the Terris people had for him. Demoux and his men had come to the Terris people and organized the Terris refugee camp. He took over the law and order of the group, but was very respectful towards the Terris elders.[3]

She is a member of the Seventeenth Shard and has work of her own throughout the cosmere.[2]

Trivia

Aslydin was created out of a promise Brandon made to his friend, Micah DeMoux, that the character named after him would find romance.[3]
