Mistress Halex is a brass Misting (aka a Soother) and the proprietor of a Soothing parlor on Decan street in Elendel on Scadrial.[3][2][1]
She wears a matronly gown and a hat that is likely lined with aluminum. She is unruffled by the presence of a constable in her establishment.[2]
Mistress Halex opened her Soothing parlor in 341 PC.[1] In 342, Chapaou fled to the parlor after his disturbing encounter with Bleeder and paid for a private session.[2] The Coinshot that also worked for Ashweather Carriage and Coach knew where he was and directed Waxillium Ladrian to the parlor.[3] Mistress Halex greeted Wax and, after seeing his credentials, took him back to Chapaou's room. She urged Wax to take Chapaou with him, as he was upsetting the other customers.[2]
