The Wooden Soul is an Epic from a remote Punjabi village.[1] She is a puppeteer or animator Epic. Her only known power is to give "life" to marionettes and enable their movement by her mind.[2]
The Wooden Soul died about ten years prior to Dean Knighthawk allying himself with the Reckoners.[1] Knighthawk's control over his mannequin, Manny, was via a motivator using some of the Wooden Soul's DNA.[2] He was astonished that David Charleston recognized the source of the power and was able to name the Wooden Soul.[1]
