Mickels is a soldier who is in Hershel's squad during the raid on a Russian satellite, when Calamity granted powers to all the Epics. He likely acts as the squad’s demolitions expert. When the raid goes wrong and they are discovered, Hershel orders Mickels to blow up the facility. However, Steelheart soon attacks the squad, and Mickels was subsequently killed.
