Edip is someone who has lived in the Elendel slums on Scadrial.
When Wayne is pursuing the Marksman in 342 PC, a resident of the slums claims to recognize him as Edip's son; Wayne uses this to his advantage to try and fit in.[1] A different person later identifies Wayne as Edip's son while Wayne is near the slums looking for Ranette.[2]
