Edip is someone who has lived in the Elendel slums on Scadrial.

When Wayne was pursuing the Marksman in 342 PC, a resident of the slums claimed to recognize him as Edip's son; Wayne used this to his advantage to try and fit in.[1] A different person later identified Wayne as Edip's son while Wayne was near the slums looking for Ranette.[2]

The names of Wayne's parents are unknown, and Wayne does not confirm or deny a relationship with Edip in either of the instances where he was seemingly recognized.
