Tamu Kek
World of Origin Yolen
Universe Cosmere

Tamu Keks are a type of bone that can be used for inter-Realm and interplanetary communication, similar to a seon.[1] Most notably they are used to interact with dragons for purposes of prayer.[2][3] They have some similarities to singer gemhearts.[4]

Trivia[edit]

  • When writing Rhythm of War, Brandon debated whether to have the communication box that Mraize gave to Shallan contain a seon or a Tamu Kek, but eventually settled on making it a seon because they have personalities whereas Tamu Keks are just bones.[1]
  • Tamu Keks originated in the book Dragonsteel Prime.[3]
