Kage is a tenasi Superiority admiral. She wears a white military uniform and serves on Brade's staff of advisors.[1]
At the beginning of the Battle of Evensong, Brade discussed tactics with Admiral Kage. The admiral reported that the Defiant coalition of planets had far more inhibitor taynix with them than the Superiority thought they would have. Brade explained to her that the humans attacking them would be foolish about how much effort they would put into defending the Defiant, an insight which Kage questioned at first before accepting Brade's superior knowledge of humans. She also expressed her concern to Brade about summoning the delvers and received the assurance that they would only call on them if the Superiority could not gain victory on its own.[1]
