A zinkall is a ranged weapon used by Daysiders on Taldain. According to Kenton's comments when discussing guns, it might operate by air pressure. A zinkall looks like a set of thin pipes (going by the appearance, they might be reeds) mounted on the forearm, near the wrist. Each tube contains a small arrow that can be launched by the wielder of the zinkall by a trigger above the pipes. The exact range of a zinkall is unknown.
While not widespread, zinkalls are used by both Kerztian warrior-priests and Lossandin trackts.[1]
