Aona's Shard is a Shard of Adonalsium. Its name is a synonym of Compassion, thought to be "Devotion."

Due to the correlation of names, it seems likely that Aona's Shard is related to Aon Dor.

Lore

The only known mention of Aona is in The Letter.

Before the events of Elantris, Aona was killed by Odium, and Aona's Shard was Splintered.
