Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell is a cosmere story, but it is uncertain whether or not Hoid will make an appearance. Brandon Sanderson has stated that Hoid does not appear,[4] but his assistant, Peter Ahlstrom, believes that he does.[5] If Hoid does make an appearance, it will be even briefer than his cameo in The Alloy of Law.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content The story takes place on a relatively unimportant Shardworld.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

The main character of Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell is a dangerous woman, in keeping with the anthology's theme, in the company of other dangerous women.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

Notes

  1. If Hoid does appear, it's an even more minor cameo than in Alloy of Law
  2. GRRM announcement
  3. Tor Announcement
  4. Hal-Con Report
  5. I know Brandon said that but I read it again this week and I am not convinced.
