I Hate Dragons is a short story written by Brandon Sanderson as part of a dialogue exercise. He wrote the story using only dialogue, although admittedly, he did use large caps and occasionally very descriptive conversation.[1] Some time later, Brandon expanded the short story, putting in descriptions, and added more chapters.[2]
The short story can also be found in Dragon Writers: An Anthology (WordFire Press, 2016). Amazon
Summary
Skip was employed as dragon-bait. He had the unusual ability to smell delicious to the dragons, and he could also hear punctuation and spelling when people (or dragons) spoke.
