The Skaze were "evil Seons"[1] and were related to Skai.[2]

They had a large amount of influence in the politics of Fjordell[3] and strongly influenced the Dakhor.[4]

Dilaf had information from the Skaze that the Elantrians were not indestructible.[5] In the Elantris postscript, Hoid talks to a Skaze and indicates that he has made some sort of agreement with the Skaze.
