Salay's father is the unnamed father of Salay on Lumar. Salay sails the seas looking for her father, hoping to find him and pay off his debts.[1] Tress managed to get the information to his whereabouts out of Xisis, and sometime after defeating the Sorceress, Tress and the rest of her crew rescued him from Filistrate City where he was kept.[2][3] As a member of the crew, Salay started to teach him how to steer the ship, though he was a bit rough and bumped into the docks on approaching Diggen's Point.[3]
