The Hoed were a group of Elantrians that had accumulated so many injuries that they were effectively comatose from the pain.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

After the Reod, the Elantrian people stopped self-healing and so any injuries, however minor, never stopped causing them pain. Since the Elantrians stayed immortal, some sank beneath the weight of the their pain, losing their minds, staying mostly at the same place and a lot of them always mumbled their own mantra.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
