Mistborn is a fantasy series by Brandon Sanderson.
It is most well known as a trilogy, but there will be additional installments. The first Mistborn trilogy chronicles the efforts of a group of Allomancers who attempt to overthrow a dystopian empire and establish themselves in a world covered by ash.
The three books of the trilogy are:
- Mistborn: The Final Empire--Commonly referred to simply as "Mistborn"
- Mistborn: The Well of Ascension
- Mistborn: The Hero of Ages
In November 2011, a new Mistborn book, The Alloy of Law will be released.
