Salic is a member of the Abu Sayyaf, though he pretends to be in the less-extreme Moro National Liberation Front.[1]
He tortures Balubal Razon in an attempt to force him to make the camera work and kidnaps Stephen Leeds and Monica. He offers to pay Stephen to fix the camera. His goal is to prove Christianity is a hoax in order to destabilize the region.[1]
