Salic was a member of the Abu Sayyaf, though he pretends to be in the MNLF.
He tortures Balubal Razon in an attempt to get him to make the camera work and kidnaps Stephen Leeds and Monica. He attempts to pay Stephen to fix the camera. His goal is to prove Christianity is a hoax in order to destabilize the region.[1]
He is shot in the forehead by Stephen and J.C..
