Library of Alexandria
World Earth (Alcatraz)

The Library of Alexandria is a repository of all knowledge ever recorded. It was originally located in the Hushlands, curators moved it after it outgrew its location.[1]

The library is still known in the Hushlands, though the Librarians have covered up its continued existence by claiming it was destroyed by the Roman Empire.[1]

Curators

The library is protected by a curse wherein anyone who reads from or touches a book forfeits their soul and becomes one of the library's curators.[1]

The Curators try to get visitors to check out a book so that they can claim their soul.[2] The library is laid out so that one will get hopelessly lost, making a visitor just give up. Traps are everywhere as well, with the information on how to get out of them written on books that can be checked out.[3]
