Kilimanjaro
Homeworld ?

Kilimanjaro, or Kiliman, was the main antagonist of the second book, and was a member of the Scrivener's Bones faction of librarians. He was hired by Alcatraz's mother to retrieve the Translator's lenses that Alcatraz possessed at any cost. He chased Alcatraz from an airport in the hushlands and eventually into the library of Alexandria, where Alcatraz managed to lose him for a time, but eventually Kiliman got ahold of Draulin, Bastille's mother, and used her to force Alcatraz to hand over the Translator's lenses.

Alcatraz manages to recover the Translator's lenses with Australia's help, who changed her form to resemble that of the curators of the library and snuck right past Kiliman unnoticed, grabbing the lenses. Alcatraz then manages to defeat Kiliman by tricking him into pulling a book off a shelf by tying a thread between the recovered translators lenses and a book. As soon as Kiliman grabs the translator's lenses with his voidstormer's lenses the book falls of the shelf and Kiliman's soul is forfeit, so he turns into another curator.

The order of the scrivener's bones are mercenaries who hire themselves out to other librarians. They use a blend of hushlander and free kingdoms technology (such as a jet with a oculator lens). They alter their bodies with alivened material, and, not being oculators themselves, wield blood-forged lenses (lenses created with the blood of an oculator so that anyone can use it). Kiliman had a voidstormers lens which sucked things towards it (the opposite of Alcatraz's windstormers lenses) as well as a frostbringers lens.
