Bloodscratches are creatures found on the island of Patji, located in the Pantheon on the planet First of the Sun.[1]

Bloodscratches are small enough to fit inside a cup or bowl.[1] It is unknown if they are common only on Patji or if they are also present on the other islands of the Pantheon.

Like most native lifeforms on Patji, bloodscratches are dangerous to humans. Every time Sixth of the Dusk returns to one of his safecamps, he checks blankets and dishware in the room for bloodscratches and other small and deadly creatures.[1]
