Deathant
World of Origin First of the Sun

Deathants are a form of insect native to the Pantheon islands.[1] They are yellow and as small as a pinhead. One bite is enough to kill a person. They generally lie in wait under the ground, then when somebody steps on their nest they swarm out and kill them, but branches can also hold deathants. A deathant nest can sometimes be recognized by a bulge or crack in the ground.
