The Tenasi are a race of aliens. Like all the other aliens known to human civilization, they are strong in Cytonic powers and are capable of FTL transportation.
They are the first alien race encountered by mankind.
In the Tenasi incident, their diplomatic vessel, which was one of the most powerful ships in the universe at that time (other than the human ones), was accidentally shot down by The United Governments military, making an embarrassing first contact.
