Template:CharacterInfobox Kalak was one of the ten Heralds of the Almighty on Roshar.

He was called Kelek in Vorinism. According to the religion, he was associated with the Essence Foil and the Attributes Resolute and Builder. He was number Kak on the Ten Essences table.

Plot

Kalak survived one of the Desolations and thought of the place where the Heralds go when they die or a Desolation has ended. He met with Jezrien at the meeting place of all the surviving Heralds. He thought that its unusual that nine of the ten Heralds have survived, and told Jezrien that he cannot go back to the place in between Desolations. Jezrien agreed and declares the Oathpact ended.

Kalak considered the people they are abandoning, as well as Talenel.
