Michael Whelan is the creator of many fantasy book covers, including those of A Memory of Light and the US editions of The Stormlight Archive. He also worked with Ben McSweeney to produce a painting of Shallan Davar on the Shattered Plains for the end-pages of Words of Radiance.[1]
