Kara Stewart is the CFO and Merchandise Director for Dragonsteel Entertainment.[1] She leads a team known as "Team Silverlight" and handles sales, signings, release parties, shipping, and everything else related.[1][2] She manages Brandon Sanderson's store, known as Dragonsteel Books, and has overseen fulfillment for Brandon's Kickstarter campaigns.[3]

She is married to Isaac Stewart, Dragonsteel's art director. The Stewarts are longtime friends of Brandon's, and worked with Brandon very early in his writing career. Brandon eventually tried to hire Kara, and ended up conveniently hiring Isaac as well; they officially joined Dragonsteel in 2013.[2][4] Isaac and Kara are part of Brandon's writing group and provide very early feedback on his novels.[5]
