Arelon was the westernmost known nation on the planet Sel.
Pre Reod
Before the Reod, the country was ruled by the Elantrians. The citizens of Arelon worshipped the Elantrians as gods, though other religions existed and were not contested by the Elantrians. The Elantrian population supplied the general citizenry with food and shelter.
Post Reod
After Elantris fell, the merchant class became the leaders of a new nation and crowned Ioden as king. The capital city moved from Elantris to one of the surrounding towns, Kae.
New Elantris
Following the Invasion of Arelon the New Elantrians, lead by King Raoden and queen Sarene, lived long and prospered.
