Edmund was a user of Cytonics.[1]
He captured and threatened Jason Write in an attempt to discover how Jason could presumably read minds, something thought to be impossible through the use of Cytonics.
Edmund was a Varvax dissident. He was an outcast from Varvax civilization, and had since taken possession of a human body. He is a powerful Cytonics user, and is practiced with the attacking and blocking of mindblades.
