Artwork for the US The Way of Kings cover, showcasing the war on the Shattered Plains. Michael Whelan, the artist, has stated that he did not intend the people depicted on the cover to be specific characters,[1] though Brandon Sanderson has indicated they are Dalinar Kholin and Eshonai,[2] but that the cover does not depict an exact scene from the book.[3]
