Lady Kelesina Shores is a noble resident of New Seran. She is a collaborator with the Set.
Appearance and Personality
Lady Kelesina is an older woman.[2] She is described as "statuesque" and wears rings on all of her fingers.[3] Wax notes that she is a fairly ordinary narcissistic noblewoman.[4] She lives in a mansion built in an old style, with architecture and interior artwork designed to evoke pre-catacendre mansions.[5]
She likes to consider herself a sort of predator in polite society.[3]
Lady Kelesina appears to be very invested in the independence of the Elendel Basin. She has made an agreement with Mister Suit: in exchange for her help distracting Wax from the Set's projects, Suit will crush Elendel and provide Kelesina with an army.[6]

History
Lady Kelesina throws a party which is attended by Waxillium Ladrian and Steris Harms.[2] During the party Wax baits Kelesina into revealing her connection to the Set. He tells her he possesses a mysterious coin and knows of some happenings northeast of New Seran. Alarmed, she flees the party and contacts Mister Suit through a primitive telephone. She argues with Suit, saying that Wax cannot be successfully distracted from his mission, while Suit is convinced another mystery will catch his attention. When Wax confronts her after learning she was responsible for the Nightstreet Gang's attack on their train, she is shot in the forehead by her Brute maid.[1]

Hoid often sneaks onto the grounds of her mansion and has at least a somewhat reasonable claim that he actually owns it.[5][7]
