Universe Cosmere

Worldbringers are pre-Final Empire spiritual leaders and a sect of the Terris.

History

Worldbringers are Feruchemists who mainly used their Feruchemical abilities creating copperminds to become philosophers and scholars of religion. Some studied other subjects, including Kwaan, who studied nature.[1] Kwaan originally proclaimed that Alendi was the Hero of Ages.[2] After the Worldbringers were wiped out by the actions of the Lord Ruler during his Ascension, the Order of the Keepers in the Final Empire was inspired by their memory, dedicated to preserving pre-Ascension knowledge of religion and other studies.[3]

Cosmere Connections

There is a connection between the Worldbringers, the Rosharan Worldsingers (which group was founded by Hoid),[4] and possibly other groups in the Cosmere.[5][6] The similarity in their names is not a coincidence.[7][6] Given Hoid's worldhopping abilities, fans have speculated that he is the connection,[6] but Brandon has not confirmed this.
