He was killed during a bridge run. After Kaladin's crew had set the bridge, Sadeas' troops started fighting the Parshendi. In the battle, one of Sadeas' archers accidentally shot Dunny in the shoulder and while injured thus, he was struck in the throat by a Parshendi arrow, killed instantly.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
