Chicken is the name used for all bird species native to Shinovar, on Roshar.[1] Some are in fact chickens as we would see them from our world.[2]

Vstim trades with Thresh and potentially other Shin for chickens which he sells to the other nations of Roshar, and particularly in the east, according to Rysn.[3]

They are often edible.[4] Adolin Kholin is known to eat chicken before duels.[5]
