Aimia was one of the Silver Kingdoms of Roshar that survived the Desolations, and is also a nation in the Era of Solitude. It was an island kingdom separated from the main continent by the Aimian Sea. Aimia was scoured of its people, and the remaining Aimians and Siah Aimians are rare. While the land was scoured not long ago, it has been long enough for legends and stories to has become common knowledge.

Physiology

People from Aimia are called Aimians. Aimians are characterized by deep blue nails and eyes, and had special powers. They cast shadows towards light, rather than away. They are able to alter their physiology at will, changing both their appearance and the functionality of their organs. They have been shown to be able to entirely remove their sense of smell and alter the pigmentation of their skin, creating tattoos to record information. This ability is notably similar to the Returned of Nalthis, though they do not have the same abilities with Breath as the Returned.
