Childhood

Vin was born to a high Obligator and his skaa mistress, and got the powers of a mistborn from her father. Vin was at young age chosen by Preservation as the heir to his powers.

Story

She is discovered as a Mistborn by Kelsier, who befriends and trains her. After Kelsier's death she kills the Lord Ruler and discovers his great secret.

After this, she took the power in the Well of Ascension and mistakenly released Ruin.

She comes to hold the Shard of Preservation and kills shardholder Ati.
