History
Sefawynn meets John West after he is captured shortly after his arrival. She decides he is a charlatan rather than an aelv, but comes to respect him as they travel together, attempting to rescue her brother Wyrm. Sefawynn doubts her own abilities as a skop; while she can see wights invisible to other people[4], her boasts do not seem to take effect, so she considers herself essentially a grifter[5]. As they continue to travel together, Sefawynn and John fall in love. When the Hordamen launch a major invasion of Maelport, she defies Woden and her boasts inspire the wights to attack the Hordamen[6]. After the battle, Logna tells John that his other-dimensional nature will protect Sefawynn from Woden's retaliation[7], and they eventually marry[1].
