Rastik is a drull with brownish grey skin, large ears and slits for a nose. Rastik wears simple clothing with a pattern on one shoulder, and a band of material to keep their black hair out of their face in two angle cone shapes.{{book ref|do1|3}}

Rastik has a very joking personality, while still being obedient and respectable. Rastik offers small, sarcastic comments when Paul is struggling to accept himself as the [[Dark One]]. Rastik has a strong belief in the [[Narrative]], serving the Dark One in whichever way they choose, even offering up their life for the Dark One as their belief says.{{book ref|do1|3}}

Rastik, like all drull, was grown from the soils of [[Mirandus]]. They were raised by their [[kretchsires]], [[Rasgor]] and [[Flatik]].{{book ref|do1|3}}
 
When Paul and [[Feotora]] attacked the camp of drull Rastik was with, Rastik ordered the defence of Paul from Feotora after she recognized him as the Dark One. Rastik announced Paul as the Dark One as Feotora fled.{{book ref|do1|2}} Rastik led Paul to [[Pitch]] and the [[Well of Sorrows]], giving information about the Dark One and offering advice along the way.{{book ref|do1|3}}
 
After leading Paul to his armor after the [[Kingdoms of Light]] started their attack; Rastik offered their life to help fuel the weapons of the dark. After some convincing, Paul kills Rastik and binds their soul to raise the [[Ironkeeper]]s. Rastik watches on as Paul fights [[Kraisis]] and Feotora, and is suprised when Paul turns out victorious and is unable to offer advice on what is then to come.{{book ref|do1|4}}
