He is present at the [[Battle of Narak]], under the command of [[Adolin Kholin]]. Adolin asks him to prepare a charge against the [[Listenerslistener]]s.{{book ref|sa2|81}} After the charge is thwarted by the enemy he calls a retreat. He reports to Adolin that they are in a stalemate. He advises Adolin against engaging the enemy alone, and Adolin commands him to create a distraction.{{book ref|sa2|82}}
