Kredik Shaw, also known as the Hill of a Thousand Spires, was the palace of the Lord Ruler on Scadrial.

It was located in the center of Luthadel.

It was built on top of the Well of Ascension by Rashek after he remodelled the surrounding geography to hide the well from those seeking it in the mountains of Terris.

It had many peaked spires and sheer towers that rose high into the air, all of varying thickness. Some were large enough to contain large rooms and stairwells, and others were simply nothing more than thin rods of metal. There was no outer defensive wall surrounding the palace.

One part of the palace contained a large, domed room with many murals, including a mountain, a large cavern, a pool of light, and something very dark.[citation needed] At the center of this room was a small, single-story building with a wooden door. Words were carved into the door, probably in the ancient Terris language. The stone of this building was carved with ornate, flowing patterns.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

Being in the area immediately around Kredik Shaw gave one a feeling of immense depression, as if a constant, strong Soothing were taking place. This was caused by the Lord Ruler himself.

Vin destroyed the palace when she became Preservation and fighting Inquisitors.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
