Yenev is a former Highprince of Alethkar prior to the Kholin unification.[1]
He refused to be part of Gavilar Kholin's new kingdom and was executed by Torol Sadeas in a duel.[2]
His lands were given to Aladar, presumably being renamed to Aladar princedom.
Shallan reads the account of the duel to Adolin and Kaladin to bring up the idea of asking for a boon after wining a duel.
