Vono is a light-brown skinned, Azish guardsman[1] tasked with preventing Lift from entering the Battle of Thaylen Field while the Azish fleet sails away from Thaylen City.
Lift escapes by kicking Vono in the groin and hiding him under the bunk in her cabin[1] just before they leave port. When he recovers, Vono reports her escape to Yanagawn moments before the missive stating that the Sadeas troops lead by Meridas Amaram had switched side and were attacking the city.[1]
