Shalash's Symbol

Shalash is one of the ten Heralds of The Almighty on Roshar. Her nickname is Ash. She was the Herald of Beauty and the patron of the Order of Lightweavers. She is also associated with the number Shash, the essence Blood, and the Divine Attributes of Creativity and Honesty.[1] She is also Jezrien's daughter.[2]

Baxil's Mistress

Just before assassinating King Gavilar, Szeth notices that Shalash's statue in the palace was conspicuously missing while the other nine heralds were represented.[3] It had been destroyed by Baxil's mistress.[4][5] The mistress is Shalash herself.[6] She is tall and lean, with light violet eyes, dark skin and long black hair. She wears trousers and a thin-bladed sword at her hip.[7]
