Lurnips are green,[1] and if they are at all related to the similarly named curnips, then it seems likely that the lurnips are rockbuds.
In Emul, there was a lurnip famine a few years before the year 1173.[2] Av's father went to the Nightwatcher because his family was starving due to the famine.
