As a result, longroots were covered in crem from the highstorms.

Longroots were cheap, and after they were peeled, they could be made into a stew.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content When Kaladin's family were struggling to get by, due to Roshone, they ate longroots, which were often left secretly by the townspeople of Hearthstone.
