Khrissalla, better known as Khriss, is a dark skinned female world hopper from the shardworld Taldain.[1][2] She is the author of the Ars Arcana.[3] The map maker Nazh is in her employ.[4] She knows far more about the Cosmere than Hoid or Nazh.[5]

Appearance

Khriss and Nazh were discovered by Kelsier in the Cognitive Realm of Scadrial. The pair enlightened Kelsier on how the events on Scadrial have an effect on the Cosmere. They remained quite vague as to why they were there, or about other events elsewhere in the Cosmere that are unrelated to the current conflict. They left abruptly after Kelsier told them of his meeting with Drifter.[6]

She later appeared at a party in New Seran in post-Final Ascension Scadrial. There she stole a dance with Waxillium Ladrian and asked him questions about his powers and how they related to physics. She was also mentioned in a broadsheet ad, telling people who hear talking tools to contact Khriss and Nazh.

Speculation

This page or section deals with theories or speculation.
Please read carefully and note that this is not necessarily canonical.

She had not appeared directly in any of the published books before the releases of The Bands of Mourning and Mistborn: Secret History but she was speculated to be the author of the Ars Arcanum. This is supported by the conversation she had with Wax in Bands of Mourning, revealing that she was doing research in to the Scadrian magic system.
