Ishikk was a fisherman from the Purelake on Roshar.
He spent his time looking for exotic fish.[1]
Ishikk was seen in the first set of interludes in The Way of Kings when he was approached by three strangers - who he labelled Grump[2], Blunt and Thinker[3] - who were using him as an agent to search for Hoid. He does not appear to be completely truthful in denying finding Hoid as he states "Well, you've got the 'fool' part right" when they leave.[1] Hoid is later seen as Wit, Elhokar Kholin's court jester, or 'fool'.
