Ilamar was the cavalrylord for Highprince Dalinar Kholin's army.[2]

Ilamar was an Alethi man,[2] however his dark hair had a few red patches, and he had a long red moustache, implying some Veden or Unkalaki heritage as well.[3] He also wore a long red mustache.[2] Ilamar had a squat but compact frame.

Dalinar confers with Ilamar and Teleb before assaulting the Tower, as Sadeas approaches to discuss tactics.[4]

He died during the Battle of the Tower, along with Havar, Perethom and six thousand more members of Kholin army.[1]
