Chicken is the name of a group of bird species, some native to Shinovar, on Roshar.

Vstim trades with Thresh and potentially other Shin for chickens which he sells to the other nations of Roshar, and particularly in the east, according to Rysn.[1]

They are often edible.[2] Adolin Kholin is known to eat chicken before duels.[3]
