Cenn was a young spear man in Kaladin's squad. He was young, inexperienced and bore a certain resemblance to Tien. He was a chull farmer.

Dallet was his sergeant. He was fifteen years old when he volunteered to enlist in Amaram's army, and Kaladin bribed someone to have him moved to his squad. He expected disipline and order in the army, and was surprised at the chaos. When separated from Kaladin's group, Cenn was stabbed in the leg. Kaladin and Dallet defend and watch over him as healers came to take care of him. Both Dallet and Cenn were killed by an unnamed Shardbearer, who was a possible member of the Ghostbloods.^{[citation needed]}
